Where is my friend?
This weekend I hated being a film major. I guess because I spent the whole weekend working on this "sophomore's," project...he is 24, and I was miserable. I did not like it at all. Friday night wasn't so bad, but today I was so ready to switch majors. I am trying not let this weekend get to me to much because I don't think the director was talented at all and I didn't learn anything from him.
I have also been very frustrated with my shooting & lighting class. I have come to the conclusions that the kids in the class don't give a damn about anything except for their Indiana Jones hats and their fancy cameras they have at home. So since these kids are fully equipped with Indiana Jones hats and fancy cameras they are able to sleep through every class.
Sleeping through shooting and lighting= failing grades on midterms=failing out of the film program=LC is now the film genius of her class
Well it works out for me, except not really. I am still not learning anything. My professor is literally someone they pulled off the shady streets of Philly because they were desperate. Now I look like a goon compared to all of the other film kids.
I should have majored in blogging
Have a more fabulous weekend than me

I am laughing at you because you are in high school...HAHAHA
Tonight I am so exhausted and I just want my bed. I miss my bed, I let my friend from York sleep in it last night and now it is taken away from me again! ARGH!! My two friends Molly and Alexa have crappy roommates and they got "sexilled," so they helped themselves to my bed. Oh my life. They are lucky I like them so much, well Alexa is basically Mo...so naturally I enjoy her company.
Being a film major is wonderful for one reason:
NO FINALS/MID TERMS! (Kind of)
Oh my goodness I am realizing now how awful my life was in high school...it sucked.
(Except for period 2 English class) I get my work done so early, wait what work? I hardly have work, except for freaking Design projects.
Have a fabulous night
(I hope everyone else has a bed to sleep in)

No day off for LC
Philadelphians love cherry coke, yes they do.
Today was Veterans Day and I was denied the day off, instead I had 7hr Tuesday and I watched a really boring movie "Best Days of our Lives," the movie was three hours long and they could have easily told the story in 60min.
I cant wait for Thanksgiving, after seeing my mom this weekend I became really homesick.
Hope college applications are going fabulous seniors

Swimming in Seaweed
Two of my cousins are in a band with their friends in which they mostly play covers songs. One of them commented on my myspace and asked me to check out the song that they wrote. It's instrumental and despite the goofy name (Super Awesome Beach Monkeys) it's really good. It would be really great if everyone could go to their myspace and listen to it!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I Know The World's a Broken Bone...
When Obama was elected, I felt really good about America. It shouldn't be his race that matters, but I still felt really proud of us for electing a minority as our leader. I felt overwhelmed by the importance of it.
Now that California had decided to consciously ignore equality, I feel really disgusted by Americans. I feel hopeless. I can't stop crying about it. I even called my mom because I needed so badly to relate to somebody how horribly disappointed I am. I know discrimination isn't gone, and never will be, but I never thought the government would let it happen so blatantly.
... but melt your headaches, call it home.

Yes we can
After 48 hours of sleeping for only two hours in the lounge, line managing, and canvassing in the ghetto, we did it.
I was happy to spend the day away from Maine and to be around strictly Obama supporters. It was brilliant to be voting in a swing state, I felt so important.
I am so so going to DC on Inauguration day, I cant wait.
Have a fabulous night
(Don't bet $500 on election day...I thought Republican were good with money?)

"It torments me to insanity that you should be so misled."
It seems California will pass their proposition to ban gay marriage. I'm disgusted and horribly disappointed. There are still some absentee ballots to be counted though...
Everybody Here Parties All The Time
Voting is not as cool as I thought it would be. I felt stupid because I didn't know anyone running for anything other than President. And the people running the station were grumpy old people who didn't understand anything and kept moving people around for no reason. I also felt kind of like a fake while voting because I didn't know much about either of the candidates points.
One thing I was sure about was question 2 on the Mass ballots. The area I live in on campus is known for it's pot heads (it basically smells like the hill is made of weed) and everyone was very, very happy last night. Decriminalizing marijuana is a good thing for everybody because now the state gets money when someone gets caught instead of having to spend it on putting them in jail.

You shwood kids are smaaaty pants
I don't know what my issue is, but lately I have been disappointed with the intellectual level of the students at Drexel. I know it's because I am with all of the Design kids during class and Drexel makes special "Design Courses," because they feel as if us artsy kids cant handle the real material and that we didn't make it to Drexel because of our grades...well I did. It's really hard finding interesting people here, really hard. It bothers me that the average for a physics midterm was a 68 and it was easy as shit, well thats because no other school requires physics apparently. It also bothers me that everyone in my English class just does not know how to write. I am just...disappointed.
With all of this said, I am thankful for the education I received at Marshwood for the very first time.
Have a fabulous night
(I am still not thankful for my Latin class)
