Let's Pretend We're in Antarctica

My room mate and I had been sitting in our room for the past few hours wondering why it felt like we were in Antarctica.  As we crawled on the floor trying to see if there was a switch on the radiator to turn it on, I happened to look up.  It turns out that our window opens on the top and the bottom, and it had been opened on the top for who knows how long.  We had never noticed because our blind doesn't even go up half way and it obscured the top of the window.  The window was also stuck and we had to climb onto our desks to push it up.  We finally got it shut and now it only feels like Alaska.  Oh man, I love dorm rooms.

I cant wait until the Philies win the world series and all of my classes are canceled for the parade..HECK YES!

So I am learning that I really like to edit, that is what I am leaning towards as a career. I hate lighting, and camera operating is ok, but right now we are just using a pretty simple camera, so I wont know if I really like it until I take "camera operation."

So I have the saddest freshmen story. A senior production team sent out e-mails asking for production assistants, so I was wicked pumped for this. I show up at 5 with my roommate, we load their vehicles and they say "Ok, we are going to drive all of this stuff there, and then we will be back for you guys." So we wait...and wait....and wait, they call at 8:00pm, freaking 8:00pm, they made us wait for tree hours for them to say "We don't need PA's anymore." OUCH! They totally just called us in to load their cars and for them to ditch us. An upperclassmen warned me about this production team, I need to start listening to advice more.

Don't fall for those dorky film guys schemes!

Let's snort some cough syrup.

Since drinking coffee in college makes you really hip, and I hate coffee, I've taken to putting Coke Zero in a to go cup and carrying it around.  It makes me look fly and I get to steal soda from the dining commons.  

Rain storms are seriously the best best best things in the world.  As long as the rain isn't cold rain.  Last night we spent two hours running around in the rain and jumping into puddles.  It was so much fun.  We composed great poems about our love of rain.  The only problem is that my converse and my purse are still soaking wet.

I can't edit blogs, but I sure can edit films

I love walking around campus and seeing all the artsy kids with their design bags, cameras, tri-pods, and musical instruments. However I do not enjoy carrying all of that crap myself.

I just learned that the same kids I have all my classes with right now will be in my classes for all four years! They broke the film kids up into cycles alphabetically. The Bagel will be with me for all four years...Shoot me now please.

I am now 19!! Karl came up to celebrate and we went to the Philadelphia Museum of Art one day, so awesome. However there are so many Renaissance paintings I can look at.
