Ok even though it is painful to say, Cranky Man is right. Atonement is better than JUNO (but still see JUNO)
So basically Atonement is going to win picture of the year...well maybe not at the Golden Globes, because those are likely not to happen and this devestates me.
Lets see Atonement where to begin....But you might not want to continue reading if you haven't seen the film.
-Well it has really neat flashbacks and I am a sucker for any film with flashbacks.
-The sounds of the typewriter and lighter were incredibly creepy and awesome.
-Some of the camera shots were amazingly cool, most of them were on Briony...but the best one came at the end and it was of the dead Cecilia, Mo really loved this one. Oh and the one of the family on the steps outside as they see Robby return home with the twins, LOVE THAT ONE
-Kiera Knightly did not bug me at all, which is remarkable.
-The actor who played Robby did a fine job and he is quite good-looking.
-The actresses who played younger Biony and adult Biony were wonderful, she continued to stay creepy and awkward throughout the entire movie.
-The scene when the soldiers were rushed in was graphic, but real and I loved it, even if I had to close my eyes.
-I also loved the scene showing the soldiers camped out on the abandoned amusment park. The scene was depressing, but quite lovely.
-I am still laughing about the incident with the letter.
-That is all, however it really needed a witty girl name Juno
Next Movie to see: Kite Runner ;-) But I am serious
Have a fabulous day

Weird...
So I was listening to some songs from Juno and there was one called 12/26 and I wanted to know what was significant about 12/26, so I googled it and guess what? On 12/26/1606 King Lear was preformed for the first time! That is not why the song is called that (I don't think...), a lot of things happened on 12/26, but I thought it was a cool coincidence.
Here is the song in case you are interested:

Snow Day tomorrow!
channel 10 news > lame website mr. ro uses, pffff 1 inch, try 3-6
Mo and I did our presentation today, our movie was basically amazing and so were our surveys. Gloucester did favor Edgar! We swear!
-Mo was right about the paparazzi !It has already begun!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zOaHG_FlkU&feature=related
Mo and I drove into a ditch, because we are dumbasses and decided it was still safe to drive to Mo's house even though she lives in the middle of nowhere, and LC has a crappy car. Thankfully UPS guys saved us

I hate winter
Winter time sucks.
LC and I almost died today on the way home from school. And I practically ruined my sneakers in the snow.
Nothing has been happening in second period except for presentations which are not exciting to talk about.

I'm bored so I'll blog..
I should probably go to bed, or do homework, but I don't feel like doing either...
So, LC and I are premiering our video tomorrow during second period. It's going to be great; wear nice clothes 'cause there will be lots of press.
For those of you that happen to read this before second period tomorrow, here are the bloopers:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7Rh-yBLu7o
Because I know you all are absolutly dying to see the real thing.
In other news, my heart happens to be shattered in a million pieces because the Jan. 20th Cobra Starship show is totally, unbearably, devastatingly, soul-crushingly, sold out. And it's the only one near me. And it was sold out within hours that the tickets went on sale. I literally don't think I can go on. Also, my shutter shades havn't come in yet... My life is a pit of neverending sorrow.

Scandinavians are cool
It's true that our video is Oscar-worthy, but I think that maybe this one is better:

Scandinavians can really dance.
And their song writing skills are top-notch too.

It's movie time
Mo and I finished our King Lear video today. It is possibly Oscar-worthy. I think I am going to send it to all of the colleges I am applying to, because they will be dying to have me in their film program once they see it.
Basically Cranky Man should give us an A without even seeing our presentation.
My new favorite class = Cranky Man's period 5
-this class is filled with very intellectual sophomores, who enjoy putting staples through their arms and acting like birds.
This morning Cranky Man made me very angry by
a)giving us an extended poetry project that is due before x-mas vaca...because he hates x-mas
b) not letting me do my project on grasshopper (I suggest you read it http://plagiarist.com/poetry/270/) Ms. Z would not let me use this poem my sophomore year either...lame
c) making us use Marvel, which I simply can not do because I am against everything that the library natzi believes in, since she kicked me out of the library for "abusing the sign-out sheet."
But then I liked Cranky Man again because he saved me from the substitute from hell..and I am not talking about double glasses.
Have a fabulous day
-I must go eat cheese + cider

1-2-3-4-fight!
I'm very disappointed with the lack of musical diversity that LC and Mr. Crankster have. You guys obviously know nothing about the LA, NY, and Euro party scenes. I'm guess I'm not inviting you guys to come clubbing with me anytime soon...
Even if you are deaf and unappreciative of the joy that dance music pumps through your veins, that video is sick. I'll have you know it was nominated for the best music video MTV Woodie. That's a pretty high honor for French DJ's.
I guess I'll just give the people what they want:

"Colors: Used as a Rainbow of Functions
Todays class was probably the best class ever, just like "Colors: Used as a Rainbow of Functions," is the best essay title ever.
Be ready for an amazing King Lear presentation by LC and MO, there will be a movie, art-work, and.. cider+CHEESE! However all you stupid Rotary/Interact weirdos are going to miss out on it.
Mrs.Mullaly was also brought up in class, because she is a crazy crazy old lady who wears multiple pairs of glasses and, an excessive amount of blue eye shadow, and HITS CARS IN THE PARKING LOT! Who does that!? Probably people named Deborah, who have hair cuts that look like it was baked in the oven.
Which brings people to my next complaint, why do old people at Marshwood hate LC?
Mrs.Bufithis: Kicked LC out of the library for abusing the library pass.
Mrs.Mullaly: wrote a novel on LC which included calling her the devil.
Mr.Gendron: Would not let LC leave cranky old man's period 5 class, even though he knows I am a senior, not a sophomore...and I we were friends :-(
Cranky Old Man was not cranky at all this week. He has been quite pleasant and he is very helpful when he revises your college essays, and gives you some interesting books/essays. If only the New Yorker was not so ridiculous and posted all of their stuff online, my life would be so much easier.
Although Cranky Old Man was once again cranky when 3 clowns stole his Lord Of the Flies books. Who could those 3 clowns be?
Have a fabulous day

PS: MO needs not post stupid music videos on this blog and our King Lear movie will be much better than that nonsense

Superstars
LC and I are making a movie for our King Lear project. It's going to be awesome. I just bought a new tripod for my camera so the cinematography will be perfect! We will probably enter it in the Sundance or Cannes film festival, that's how good it's going to be.
It will probably be something like this...

SK is a loser
So here I am in school, in the library, during second lunch. Do you want to know why I'm in the library and not the cafe? Well it has to due with a little gluten-allergic girl by the name af Sarah "Whitegirl" Q. and her teacher. See, today, as you all know, we have even blocks instead of odd blocks so if you are suppossed to have double lunch on odd block day, then by logic you would actually be having it today. But Whitey's teacher doesn't think that way. So here I am stuck in the library next to my worst enemy because Sarah is making a pot.
Tonight the Academy and Cobra are playing in Worcester and me and Maya want to go but we don't have a car until after 10... so we will probably just go down there at 10 so we can at least catch a glimpse of SISKY and RYLAND and WILL!!!
I am starving and I am mad at Sarah, even though it is not her fault. And I'm bored but I've run out of things to say since I missed all of 2nd period.
The play was good! LC's a superstar!
If I was at home I would just spam this blog with pics. But I'm not at home...

Epigraphs: Cool or Drool
Epigraphs, I think, are really... I don't know.
I like them. They are my friend.
-- Mr. R
Period 2
Epigraphs, or should I say Epic-graphs (for indeed they are epic), are extremely important to today's society. Or are they? A very intelligent (although often grumpy) man once described them as "one of those cool nerdy things." It is a fact that they are both cool and nerdy, but are they worth the trouble? If you were to ask MLA, they would say, "No." In fact, they don't even recognize epigraphs as a thing. When asked to comment on this, Mr. R, an avid supporter for epigraph rights, simply said, "F you MLA." Wonderfully put in my opinion.
So, it's 8:10 on Wednesday morning and I should be in English class Period 2, but I'm not. I'm at home. I had an absolutely terrible time waking up this morning so I'm coming in a little later... But speaking of English, I'm absolutely terrified about reading my paper. Here are the reason's why:
-It sucks
-I was delirious when I wrote it so it makes no sense
-I start the first four sentences of the second paragraph off with "Marmelodov," very unprofessional
-I have some arguments in there that I'm am now almost sure are not only wrong, but completely off the mark
GOOD LUCK TODAY IN THE PLAY LC!! Even though by the time you read this you will have already performed.
"I love them, I love them, and I want you to love them too!" -Mr. R, on epigraphs of course

Yuck.
Speaking of that paper.. it is 5:39 and I havn't even thought of starting it yet.
And, to sympathize with Alison, I origionally thought that the orange blob was a head too. But after looking at it for a while, I realized that I was wrong.
I just ripped a hole in the knee of my jeans and I'm really upset. And then I scraped that same knee and now I'm bleeding!
But I digress; in order to stay Period 2 related, I shall discuss a terrible, but not really shocking, thing that LC and I discovered on friday. Mr. R is a cranky old timer who doesn't believe in Halloween! Or Christmas! I'm not actually going to discuss this topic. It's too overwhelming.

Oh wow Mo and I are slacking and we have yet to write about Fridays class, so sorry!
Well Friday was not a mental health day, BOO! Instead we have yet another Crime and Punishment paper to write, thanks to the seventh period class because Mr. Rosinski does not think they are reading, and if the seventh period class is not reading well of course second period isn't either. I would like to say that Mo and I have read every single word from part 1-part 5, we devote our lives to Crime and Punishment.
We also continued with our painting presentations Friday. Alison proved she is a psycho because she thought a large blob of orange paint was a head, when it was clearly a money bag. Way to go Alison.
Well I must got read Kite Runner...I mean Crime and Punishment
Have a fabulous day,

1st post ever by LC
In response to Maureen's quote "we did literally nothing," I am going to have to disagree. For if we did "literally nothing," then that would = a.... MENTAL HEALTH DAY, but no we were not granted one of those glorious days, even though everyone was quite desperate for one.
So... I say, mental health day tomorrow? *Hint*
Now why does everyone need a mental health day? The answer to this question would be
a) because our bodies are so drained from having to freeze to death in the jailhouse all week long.
b) There has now been yet another rule added to the list of "Marshwood's dumbass rules made by neanderthals." This rule states Teachers are no longer allowed to have household appliances in there rooms. Now this rule has been affecting me personally. Seeing as how I am in Bye Bye Birdie (which everyone should go see, unlike some teachers who claim they must blog every night) I am in the jailhouse an excessive amount of hours, and dinner time is unfortunately spent here. Which means I need a microwave or a refridgerator to eat my dinner, both of which are present in Ms. West's room, but NOOOOO no more. Now those appliances are going to be stripped from her room and I shall starve, and if LC starves she will therefore forget lines, because she is just so faint from starvation, and if LC forgets lines then other actors mess up, and then the whole show is ruined. This is all because of "Marshwood's dumbass rules made by neanderthals."
Have a fabulous day

We Love Blogging!
Today, LC and I decided to create a blog.
Luckily, I have a PC I can use for blogging, because today we discovered that Mac's suck. They never work, no matter how hard you try, because they were created by apes. This is an actual fact that LC and I discovered through extensive research. Due to the suckiness of Macs, we did quite literally nothing today in English class; but we had fun, despite the fact that a certain teacher was in an extremely grumpy mood... Probably because he has to use a Mac.
"I may as well use a typewriter!"- Mr. R on Macs
Other things that suck are our school's "ingenious" ideas. For example, the action of spending money and energy on surveillance cameras instead of heat. It happens to be a fact that the rate of metabolic activity in a body increases with the increase of temperature. Without metabolic activity we don't have cellular respiration, without cellular respiration we don't have energy, without energy we fall asleep, when we are asleep we don't learn, when we don't learn we fail, when we fail we don't go to college, when we don't go to college we don't get a good job, and so on and so on until we are living in a cardboard box in Boston. Thanks a lot jerks.
"I guess I have a man-crush on Cezanne today."
