Another one of my manymany talents

I think I am going to write a song about 2nd period English and perform it for you guys on Friday. It's going to be great. I might even get some back-up dancers. Here's the rough draft, it's called "Something You Should Know":

English class,
You are a blast,
I think that's something
You should know.

Period two,
I love You,
I think that's something
You should know.

I like reading,
And writing,
And stuff,
They're really great,
But sometimes rough.
Yet I don't mind,
Cause I think you'll find,
That Dostoyevsky is the bomb!

odd block days are sucky days!

Today was an "odd block day" and let me tell you that sucks for for me because..
a)Block chorus, shoot me in the eye please.
b) NO ENGLISH!!! Where else am I going to watch How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days!?

Mo and I are going to have the best humanities project ever! You are all going to be wicked jealous of our fabulous creation (No it is not a wooden bike).

-I must go and fail some more Chemistry assignments..
Have a FABULOUS day
-LC

Oh and btw I got into URI's film program because I sent them a copy of "Whoopsie Daisy." I do not lie. I hope the ten other schools I applied to find the video equally amusing. :-)

I hope you all enjoyed English class today, my sister got my entire family sick. Yesturday was basically the best day ever. I actually had a a dream about period 2 English, I think I failed something, it was probably my midterm.

Why must the hot die young?

Guess what awful news I just heard....

Heath Ledger is dead. Dead! Heath Ledger! DEAD!

I remember the first time I fell in love with him... it was magical.

midterm nonsense

Sorry we have not updated in a century, I have actually been studying... that is so weird to say.

HH and I would just like to say that we think there should be a word bank of titles on the midterm tomorrow.

That is all
Have a fabulous time studying

Atonement won Best Drama at the Golden Globes, oh yes it did.

Have a fabulous Snow Day

snow day #3

SNOW DAY TOMORROW!! You can all put down your My Antonia books now.

-I am watching the lame version of the Golden Globes, very depressing. Just give those damn writers more money already! They deserve it more than the actors anyways.

-I also hate Kathy Griffin with a burning passion.

New Template..

Keep? Or change?

It's true, I love technology

I lost my cell phone for a whole day and I nearly died! I literally tore up my whole house and was really cranky... It was jammed in a cup holder in my mom's car... I blame my sister. I should learn to be less dependant on technology, because I honestly had a teeny weeny panic attack.

Speaking of technology, Steve Aoki's CD comes out this month!! I embedded it at the bottom of the page even though none of you are going to like it because you never like ANYTHING!! I'm never going to stop trying to convert you....

I really like Helicopter, D.A.N.C.E., and We are Rockstars, but they are all super good!

Sow and my sore liver

Today I proposed the idea of a take-home midterm to Mr.Brady, he did not like idea at all. I must find a teacher that approves of the idea!

After writing an essay on the poem "Sow," my liver once again began to to hurt, I must go rest. I should probably take Monday off too...well it will be a snow day anyways. I definitely wont be here Tuesday though, nope no way.

Have a fabulous weekend

CHILL OUT!

OMR- You are just angry with me because I missed homeroom today (because everyone in that room is very lame, especially Constantine. Well Argentina is cool, but she is absent more than I am). You really need to get over it. At least when I am absent there are no neurotic substitutes to take my place.

Have a crappy night!

Ultimatum

Today in Math, my table buddies and I were revieuuing the alphabet. After some serious consideration, uue decided to remove "w." From nouu on "w" uuill be uuritten as "uu," because it is double u's. Duh.

Uue figured that 25 is a much better number of letters to have in an alphabet than 26. Also, uue think it is ugly. I suggested tuuo v's instead of tuuo u's, but Mr. #1-in-the-class vetoed that, because in France, "w" is called double v, and he doesn't uuant to be associtated uuith the French.

It may take some getting used to so you should start practicing, because it is effective immeadiatly!

critics choice

Last night was the Critic’s Choice Awards and let me tell you I am OBSESSED with award shows, well movie awards that is. So I have a lot to say about them and many of you probably don’t care, so go read My Antonia instead.
_ Picture: "No Country for Old Men"
*I knew this was coming, however I was hoping that Atonement would still pull though. I am still surprised that “No Country for Old Men,” has done so well at the awards. I thought the ending (not that I have seen the movie) would have ruined it.
_ Actor: Daniel Day-Lewis, "There Will Be Blood"
*For some reason I thought Clooney was going to get the award, maybe because he was the only one that showed up. I was hoping Emile Hirsch would snag it for “Into the Wild,” he is brilliant and the movie is pretty neat as well. I suggest you all see it.
_ Actress: Julie Christie, "Away From Her"
-ARE YOU KIDDING!?! This award had Ellen Page written all over it.
_ Supporting actor: Javier Bardem, "No Country for Old Men"
-Once again I am in desperate need to see NCFOM. However I was rooting for my man Seymour.
_ Supporting actress: Amy Ryan, "Gone Baby Gone"
-I knew this was coming; there is so much hype around her. Yet another movie I am in desperate need to see.
_ Acting ensemble: "Hairspray"
-I predicted right on this one. As corny as the movie sounds, it is quite good. The cast is full of energy and all of them are extremely talented. This award was well deserved.
_ Director: Joel Coen and Ethan Coen, "No Country for Old Men"
-Once again I wanted Joe Wright for Atonement, but knew Coen would walk away with the award
_ Writer: Diablo Cody, "Juno"
Obvious
_ Animated feature: "Ratatouille"
Obvious
_ Young actor: Ahmad Khan Mahmoodzada, "The Kite Runner"
Hell ya Kite Runner!
_ Young actress: Nikki Blonsky, "Hairspray"
-I was torn between Nikki and Saoirse Ronan (Atonement). However I realized Nikki was in the entire movie, where as Saoirse only appears in the first half. Nikki also had to sing and dance...so ya sometimes you just cant beat a musical.
_ Comedy movie: "Juno"
DUH! JUNO OWNS SUPERBAD
_ Family film (live action): "Enchanted"
-As much as I do love Enchanted, Hairspray should have won.
_ Picture made for television: "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee"
Sure...
_ Foreign language film: "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly"
-A given
_ Song: "Falling Slowly," Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, "Once"
Enchanted was robbed! Who doesn’t enjoy a good song sung by a princess in New York, with Jamaican drummers and basically the entire population of NYC following her.
_ Composer: Jonny Greenwood, "There Will Be Blood"
-should have been enchanted...
_ Documentary feature: "Sicko"
Agreed

Juno>Superbad

Right now I am working on my poetry project, but I am very distracted by the Critics Choice Awards.

So far Juno has won best comedy NOT Superbad! HAHAHAHAHA because Superbad is so overrated.

Lame-Mo

I feel like a wicked lame-o lately because I have nothing to write about.

Ummm.......

I think my stomach is disintegrating because I've upped my dose of Coke lately. Today I had two study halls; that was fun. I am currently craving cheesecake.

Yeah... sorry.

lame weekend

It is true hospitals disapprove of wheelchair racing...damn, I must find something else to entertain myself. I must try elevator racing next. I will let you all know how that goes.

Mr. Brady is now wicked lame. The old man as only been here for two days and we already have a lab due and test next week. I thought Chem was just going to be one big party, WHATEVER!

no hair

I have no hair, no joke.

Ok, so English class was very enjoyable today. KD has proved that the only movie she has ever seen is How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days...wow. She didn't even know that Kite Runner was a movie. Oh Kite Runner, how I love you so.

-The three clowns have also informed me that I have an extra English project to complete and I must work on it during 5A?

:-@#$%^&*()

I blame winter for everybody's sadness. Let's all quit school, move to Bermuda, tan on the beach, and wait for Global Warming to kick in and save us all from this frozen hell.

PS. LC, I've been watching MTV all day just for the commercials. I love Cobra!! Especially the one where Nate murders Gabe's goldfish, and the one where Ryland and Gabe have a fat fight, and really all of them. Maybe we should all just watch those movies and then we will feel better:

:-(

My life is one big :-( right now. Now I don't have first lunch, instead I have second. I have second lunch with ZERO friends. So now my life looks like this :-(((((((

2 good things about LC's life
-her humanities project is going to be fabulous, definitely another LC and Mo production.
-MR. BRADY HAS RETURNED! This means complete chaos, multiple detentions, and Shaniqua! Shaniqua is the plant I was forced to sit next to during S0phomore Chemistry, because I was not allowed to sit next to humans. So because of this circumstance I decided to put Mr. Brady's big plant next to me. I named it Shaniqua and I grew quite fond of her.

take home midterm?!

My reasoning for a...
TAKE HOME MIDTERM!

-Us students would be able to take the test at our own pace instead being forced to take yet another exam in 90min,
-It's an English exam. There are no notes and textbooks that we could use to cheat at home, since most likely the test is going to consist of mostly essays?
-So if we can take the test home our essays will be even better than they would be if we had to write them in class. We will have more time to organize our ideas and we will be able to neatly type it.
-That's one less exam period we have to attend, which equals more time for us to study for other midterms....or blog
-OMR this means one less midterm you have to attend also!
-This also means 90 minutes less of LC, sounds fabulous

that is all
