And the nominees are...

Oscars are like Christmas for me, no joke.

ACTRESS IN A LEADING ROLE
Cate Blanchett/Elizabeth
Julie Christie/ Away From Her
Marion Cotillard/ La Vie En Rose
Laura Linney/ The Savages
Ellen Page/Juno
WINNER: Come on…JUNO! I still believe Ellen can win it, after being shut out at the SAGs and Golden Globes.
BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS
Cate Blanchett/I’m Not There
Ruby Dee/American Gangster
Saoirse Ronan/Atonement
Amy Ryan/ Gone Baby Gone
Tilda Swinton/ Michael Clayton
WINNER: Cate Blanchette, she is a female playing a male character, case closed. However Amy Ryan could give her a run for her money.
DIRECTING
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly
Juno
Michael Clayton
No County for Old Men
There Will Be Blood
Winner: Coens, they have won every other award so why stop now?
WRITING (ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY)
Juno
Lars and the Real Girl
Michael Clayton
Ratatouille
The Savages
WINNER: Diablo Coty! She is a stripper from Michigan who decided to randomly sit down one day and write a screenplay. It took her 2 hours to write, she is my idol.
BEST PICTURE
Atonement
No Country for Old Men
Juno
There Will be Blood
Michael Clayton
Winner: Atonement, although I realize this could be unlikely

However the Oscars are all politics. So whoever is out there lobbying the most will win.

Ok I am done blogging for the night

I just watched Bridge to Terabithia and I think it should win all the awards... even though it came out awhile ago.

I wish I was younger so I could be friends with Josh and Sophia, they're so cool!

aww I haven't seen that yet!

I think I'm going to go have to throw my support for Viggo Mortensen in Eastern Promises for best actor for the reason that he plays a Russian in that movie.

I have yet to see Eastern Promises, but hear Viggo is AMAZING (and Russian)

They should automatically just give him the oscar for that (being Russian).
