Pick your head up, pick your feet up.

I decided to make cupcakes this morning, mainly because they're the shit and partially because I was bored.  At first I was going to use white cake mix, but I forgot how to split egg whites from egg yoke.  I ended up using marble instead.  When you make a marble cake or marble cupcakes you have to put the yellow batter in the pan, then spoon the fudge on top, and then swirl.  This took too long for me, so I decided that, rationally, I should be able to swirl them in the big bowl, then spoon them out.  Now I have twelve cupcakes that look like frosted bran muffins.  I also got impatient waiting for the cupcakes to cool before frosting so I have a few with watery glaze and a huge mess on my counter.  Thank God I'm going to college where they cook for me.

Today's my last day of work!

Double Feature

Want to know something weird?

Last night, or this morning really, during the second hour of the day, I got hit on by two old creeps right in a row, saw two hitch-hikers right in a row, and saw two burrowing skunks right in a row.  That means the number two is going to have a significant role in my immediate future.

I popped my Rocky Horror cherry last night/this morning.   It was cool and fun and sexxxy.  But I just need to say that I hate ditzy little whores in thongs that talk in shit British accents and think their ugly friend looks like Brittany Snow.  I love boys that yell weird stuff like "snakes and badgers" out of their car window and drunk men who ask if I wrestle though.

Ohhh Patrick

Work is keeping me from the blog, and I hate it! It has also kept me from my "I am going to watch one movie everyday." However I did have time to sit down with Mo and snazz this blog up and I did have time to see Batman....HOLY SHIT! (That sums it up well I think).

I went to Orientation!! I was hesitant about it at first because every girl was from Jersey and they "are lyke going to major in Fashion & Merchandising," shoot me in the face now please. However, I did find a group of really awesome kids. I met two girls that are also majoring in film and one may be my roommate. I am falling more in love with the film department, because now two major film studios are opening in Philly and we are all going to get to work there. There is also a chance for 15 kids to do a term LA.

My assigned summer reading: "Everything Bad is Good For You," by Steven Johnson

MTV is playing spongebob right now, I am so confused.

I hope everyone is having a fabulous summer
(I must go watch spongebob on MTV)

Let's Have a Celebration in the Middle of the Week

Today at work all we did was solve riddles.  We are masters.  We decided that we are probably better at solving riddles than Batman, and that we would crush The Riddler (or Edward, as I like to call him) is seconds.  He would be reduced to a sniffling, little baby.  Then I would call him Baby Eddie.

I wish all jobs were like Wilson's, but there are a few improvements to be made.  Here they are:
- a kiddie pool behind the registers
- a water cooler
- a cooler for other, cooler, beverages
- beanbag chairs
- a name change to "Wilson's House of Leather"
- half pizza parlor-half leather store by day, dance club by night
- a hotdog stand, with free hotdogs and free cotton candy for Wilson's employees
- raises
- Wilson the Dog
- air conditioning that works

This could all go so wrong, but we're so happy

Oh, the good old days:

It's weird to think about how much has changed since Novmber 1, 2007.  Here are a few changes:
-It's 2008
-I know who Vampire Weekend is
-It's summer
-Mike is no longer our friend
-Basically no one is our, or at least my, friend anymore
-I've discovered I'm a hater
-We are college students
-I have a Mac
-We no longer blog about 2nd period
-I have an XBox 360
-I am 18
-I've lost my mind

If it weren't for blogspot, I wouldn't even realize the extent of the changes that have happened.

All I Wanna Do Is *BangBangBangBang*

My sister cut her own hair, and only butchered it a little.  We went to a real salon today, and she got hers fixed and I got mine cut.

We decided to become assassins/spies.  We're going to carry briefcases.  If I were you, I'd watch my back, we might shoot it (with a camera).

I bought a tambourine.  I'm not really sure why...

 (I know: soooo lame.)

I bought an I-pod classic and it changed my life.

I need to go to college now! I realized I am going to miss like three people and that is it.

Current movie:2001 Space Odyssey

Have a fabulous night
(I must go finish this movie)

I'll take a rainbow from the sky and tie the ends together

It turns out that there is neither a deal nor a script for an Arrested Development movie. I'm horribly depressed.

My sister is making me cut her hair even though I've thoroughly warned her that it will turn out like shit.

I'm shocked I haven't been fired yet. All I do at work is complain about how bored I am. Occasionally I zip up a jacket, but that's only when I'm feeling ambitious.

Lemon Poppy Seed muffins aren't that good, so don't waste your time making them.

Hourly has its benefits

I got to see fireworks after all, I was so pumped!

So I had the best day of work today. Me and my really good friend Ali got paid for basically going out for lunch and going to Aggies. All we had to do was drop off the food for a small party and we were done, so of course after this we had to milk the clock and buy a bunch of food at various places. It always amazed me that Fosters just let a bunch of teenagers go off in their vehicles and trust that we come back? Ummm hello? We are being paid HOURLY, and you give us money for "gas?" Hahaha that's really funny. I remember last year we drove to dairy queen and around York, just because we were on overtime.

Movies watched yesterday: Wanted, Clockwork Orange
Today: Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the original, none of that Jessica Biel crap) and Cloclwork Orange

Have a fabulous July 6th
(I must go drink more caffeine at 12:40am)

In Da Hood

I hope everyone had a super independence day.

Today I had my first freeze pop of the summer. It was blue and oh so delicious.

The only show I watch right now (other than Without A Trace (duh)) is Robin Hood on BBC America. It's stupid (like most BBC shows) but I love it. I think the main attraction is Robin Hood himself. Either way, it's on tonight at nine, and if you're like me and too cool to watch things when they're scheduled, it's also On Demand. You should check it out, even if you're not into hot, arrow-shooting, tight-wearing, money-stealing, evil-fighting, medieval lords (Maid Marian is a little whiny, but cute).

sad story

One day LC's car went into inspection and never came back, then her summer was ruined.

TRUE STORY

Yahoo was being annoying so I got a g-mail (I am ashamed)

Yesterday some psycho flipped out because we served her corn bread instead of rolls, and she asked to speak to a manager and told her how much she despises corn bread.

I have watched one movie almost everyday this summer.

This was a random post

Have a fabulous 4th of July
(I will be working)

Don't don't don't don't give give up up

Today, I went to Portsmouth to have a tea party. After one cup of tea, guess what happened? It started raining! This summer is a shitty monsoon summer! So we hid under a tent, but the wind blew the rain onto us anyways, so we hid in the closed up backstage tent for the park's play (a nice man that worked there said we could if it didn't scare us too much (it didn't)). Then when the rain stopped we had a walking tea party and everyone was jealous. Then, while we were having pizza, it started raining again. Then, we saw a million people that we know and they told us the fireworks were cancelled so we decided to start a website like thecobrasnake.com, except better and called wearecrackwhores.com. At first we didn't know what to call it so we asked some people and they ignored us. My sister and I talked in British accents and people asked if we were really from England. We are good. Now, I am eating Doritos and they are so good. I yelled at my brother a few days ago because he stole the bag and ate them all, and now I'm doing it (but it's okay because I deserve them). Tomorrow I might go to the Dover fireworks, but right now it's only penciled in my agenda book.

Today I also went to the beach with LC and Kath and I got a wicked bad sunburn. I look like a lobster. A really red lobster with human features.
